Required courses offer an integrated reading and writing approach, including speaking, viewing, and listening skills and critical thinking, research, and multimedia strategies. The English Department aims to offer a broad range of courses. This will allow flexibility for students to choose a course proportional to their ability, interest, and background. At the same time, the program is structured enough, so there should be no confusion about which English course is appropriate.
