**APPLICATION FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN**!
We are a free, public charter school open to students of Bridgeport, CT and surrounding areas. For the 2025-2026 School Year, we will enroll students in Grades 6 through 12.
Complete the enrollment application. This application allows you to apply and/or waitlist for our school. Need support completing your application? Feel free to call us at (203) 870-8188 or stop by our school for more information.
Though all are welcome to apply, priority status is given to Bridgeport residents, Multilingual Learners (MLL), and siblings of current and former Great Oaks students.
Great Oaks Charter School – Bridgeport accepts enrollment applications via our online application.
The 2025-2026 Lottery took place on April 10th, 2025. We are still accepting applications for grades 6-11.
Families receive application results via email notification and mailed letter. Great Oaks Charter School calls all newly matched families for the upcoming school year directly to welcome them to our school community and sends a registration packet via mail.
Even after the lottery, Great Oaks continues to accept students. If there are no openings, students will be added to the waitlist and called as space becomes available.
Orientations are held to welcome new families and to complete the enrollment of their child by filling out/bringing necessary paperwork. Students are not considered enrolled into our school until the necessary paperwork is in.
Please call the school at (203) 870-8188 or email us at bptadmissions@gobpt.org
